Service Description
Distance: 8km (retracing steps, depending on pace) Bring: Hat, sunscreen, water, shoes with grip Duration: 1.5 hours depending on our pace Local artist Anita Revel is leading a “Woven Walk” to foster community, connection, mindfulness and PHOTOGRAPHY! We will be following part of the Cape to Cape Track, up and down sandy tracks so a fair degree of fitness is required. The trail follows the coastline from the Margaret River river mouth heading north to Kilcarnup. Depending on the group, we may turn around sooner, but we will play it by ear. Along the way we will be learning to make better use of our cameras (whether DSLR or phone!) by practising mindfulness and sharing our combined tips and knowledge. These photos may become reference pics for future workshops with Woven, or to further your own arts practice, or simply to have on your phone to enjoy! —— “Woven Walks” is a regular offering by the volunteers of Woven, on the second Sunday of every month. Follow us on Instagram to be first in the know.
