Service Description
This year, mosaic artist Joanna Alferink is taking a break from opening her studio during Open Studios and, lucky for us, will be leading this special workshop at the Cowaramup Community Gardens. Date: Saturday, 19 September 2026 Time: 1.00 pm – 4.00 pm Create a unique mosaic birdbath saucer to take home and display on your own pedestal or garden stand while learning mosaic techniques in a relaxed, friendly setting with Joanna's expert guidance. Please bring: ● A rough design or idea for your mosaic to help you get started on the day. ● An apron to protect your clothing while you work. ● If you have your own protective glasses, please bring them along. Otherwise, there will be plenty available to use on the day. Please note: ● Grouting will be completed at home. Grout, rags and instructions will be provided for you to take away. ● This workshop is limited to participants aged 16 years and over. Places are strictly limited, so book early to avoid missing out! Minimum age is 16.
