Coffee + freestyle crochet 14 Oct

Service Description

Our morning sessions of coffee and crochet (for absolute beginners) are a lovely introduction to the art of slow craft and conversation. We invite newbies to sit and enjoy coffee and chatter while learning the basics. Yarn management, hand architecture, needle motion, tension... We won't be making anything (until you're ready!) -- just learning the fundamentals and becoming comfortable with the needle before progressing to actual projects. This "freestyle" session will build on the basic stitches -- start exploring and sharing interesting stitches you have learned, or want to learn. ✓Bring the YouTube lesson you're stuck on and need practical advice. ✓Bring your fave stitch and share it with the group. ✓BYO yarn or buy a kit from Woven After school drop-off for an hour or so -- nothing strenuous, come and go as you have time / brain space. BYO yarn and hook, or buy a starter kit from Woven for $10. Bring some $ for coffee and maybe even a treat :D
