For Women To
Connect, Care & Create
We are a group of local women who want to build community in Cowaramup through art and craftsmanship.
Woven aims to bring together women of the community to nurture and support each other. With a focus on mental health, we aim to help women prioritise time for creativity, connection, culture and wellbeing. We also want to honour and preserve practical skilled craftmanship through intergenerational connection.
How we operate

Woven provides a space where women can come and work on projects freely or connect and craft in groups via weekly crafting sessions.
Bi-monthly facilitated workshops, exploring a variety of crafts and mediums e.g. painting, macrame, pottery, knitting, mosaics, textiles and sculpture. Every 2nd and 4th Thursday evening of each month 7pm-10pm at The Cowaramup District Social Club
Weekly studio time; a space where members can come and work on projects freely, whether continuing the theme of the workshops or a current home project. Access to resources such as sewing machine and overlockers are available, and crafting resources can be purchased at cost.
Our membership includes membership to The Cowaramup District Social Club, Cowaramup's own hub for social gatherings and connection.
