Tanah Marah, Tanah Marah Rd, Margaret River

Service Description

Distance: 3km (depending on group preference) Bring: Hat, sunscreen, water, shoes with grip Duration: 1.5 hours depending on our pace Local artist Anita Revel is leading a “Woven Walk” to foster community, connection, mindfulness and mindful photography. Tanah Marah is a family-owned accommodation and function venue surrounded by local bush and fauna. The family is obsessed with bird-watching, conservation, and providing a beautiful experience for their nature-loving guests. In this gentle stroll around the lake and through the native bush, we will be learning to make better use of our cameras (Anita uses an iPhone), by practising mindfulness and sharing our combined tips and knowledge. These photos may become reference pics for future workshops with Woven, or to further your own arts practice, or simply to have on your phone to enjoy! —— “Woven Walks” is a regular offering by the volunteers of Woven, on the second Sunday of every month. Follow us on Instagram to be first in the know.

We gather today in this special place to continue our learning journey together.  We acknowledge the Wadandi people as the traditional custodians of the land upon which we stand. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging and recognise their continuing spiritual connection to land, water and community.
