Service Description

Keeping a journal is an enriching, therapeutic practice that has several benefits — strengthening memory, working out emotions and ideas, tracking progress and growth, reducing stress and anxiety, commemorating important moments, processing difficult memories, improving writing and communication skills, finding inspiration, expressing gratitude, planning out ideas and goals, self discovery and more. However, like any practice, it can be difficult or overwhelming to know where to start and how to persevere. There are several different ways to journal; it’s all about finding which one works best for you. At this workshop, we will explore different writing exercises and prompts to help you discover a method that speaks to you. Included in the price of admission is a welcome drink of herbal tea and a beautiful journal for you to begin (or continue to build) this intimate, personal practice.
